THE BRIEF
To create a cohesive, collaborative vision for the future where each team member could play to their strengths to achieve a new level of success by liberating collective untapped brilliance.
Following one-to-one discussions with each Senior Leadership Team member the step changes the team needed to make included behaviour changes to result in:

Dynamic, inclusive team meetings that focus on strategic business development and create the opportunity for, everyone to contribute and make a strong commitment to actionable outputs.
2.
Clarity of roles and accountabilities in a robust operating structure to support the future direction of the business.
3.
Consistent, inspiring and engaging messaging to motivate the wider teams to connect and engage everyone in the future of the business.
MU APPROACH
A 3 step approach over 3 months which included:
One-to-one discussions with each Senior Leadership Team member to establish individual perspectives on the step changes the team needed to make.
A facilitated Think Tank session, bringing together the Senior Leadership Team to share their own insight and views on the future direction and opportunities for the business.
An out of office away day shaped to co-create a vision for CGS, challenging assumptions and the status quo.
THEIR THINK TANK GENERATED:
- A clearer picture of how they wanted the business to evolve over the next 5 years and their own roles and contributions to that picture.
- A set of individual and collective short and long term actions to be feed into the Strategy Day follow up.
THEIR STRATEGY DAY GENERATED:
- Deep diving into projected future trends and defined their value offering against those
- A defined set of principles and a framework for decision making to be shared with the wider teams
- A future the Senior Leadership Team is positive and excited about.
- A commitment to report back on progress against actions at Leadership meetings, to keep people on track to generate self-sufficient brilliance.
THEIR BRILLIANCE
In the first month…Fruitless discussions shifted to positive, future focussed discussions with real clarity on a strategy for expansion and each individual taking full responsibility for a defined section of that expansion. 3 months later… Each member of the SLT is enthusiastic and focused on achieving their goals and reporting back to each other on measurable progress. Individuals feel involved and appreciate that the success of the company is “in their hands”.
